How to Apply for RTO Endorsement:
- Step 1: Get your CNG kit installed only from an RTO-authorized retrofitment centre.
- Step 2: After installation, collect the CNG kit invoice, fitment certificate, and Form-22A.
- Step 3: Inform your insurance provider and get your policy updated to include CNG endorsement.
- Step 4: Visit your local RTO with all documents and submit your application for fuel type change (endorsement).
- Step 5: Your vehicle will undergo a physical inspection by an RTO officer.
- Step 6: Once approved, your new RC will include the “CNG” endorsement, either on a smart card or in the mParivahan app.
